Mondamin and Green Cove are private, brother-sister summer camps on Lake Summit, six miles south of Hendersonville, NC (which is in western NC, in the mountains). Each camp offers four sessions: a five day session in late May/early June; a three week June Camp; five weeks through the end of July; and a two week session in early August. There are approximately 190 campers (age 7 to 17) at each of the two longer sessions, fewer for the short “shoulder” sessions. Our camps focus on wilderness adventure, teaching skills in canoeing/kayaking, hiking, rock climbing, swimming, sailing, tennis, horseback riding, and mountain biking.
