• The Food Service Director will manage, plan, organize and supervise all meals and additional food for campers and staff
• Supervise and coordination of the head chef, cooks, food service personnel and dining room staff
• Plan menus and maintain regular rotation of food items served
• Oversee stock and quantities of items ordered
• Competitive purchasing, balancing quality, service, and cost
• Maintain health and safety standards for all phases of food service
• Train staff in cleanliness of equipment, food prep, refrigeration and personal hygiene
• Maintain time schedules for all staff
• Supervise pantry and store room
• Supervise preparation of all food
• Work closely with the Camp Director relating to the entire food service program
• Supervise security of all kitchen related items
• Be ServeSafe certified
