MAINTENANCE
RESPONSIBLE TO: Caretaker, Program Director, and Camp Director
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work under the direction of the camp Caretaker to insure a clean, safe camp that is in harmony with the goals and objectives of camp NEOSA.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To report to the Caretaker on a daily basis for specific job assignments.
- To assume responsibility for the daily removal and proper disposal of trash from around the camp.
- To make a daily check of maintenance requisitions out of the camp office and handle those requisitions. Any major problems should be reported daily to the caretaker for proper handling.
- To assist with the arrival and departure of campers each opening and closing days.
- To assume responsibility for the delivery of special program requisitions of food and supplies to the outdoor living sites.
- To assist with the general clean-up and maintenance to include various landscape duties of all camp grounds, facilities, and program areas.
- To assume responsibility for the proper care of all major equipment and vehicles, under the supervision of the caretaker.
- Participate in and help supervise campers during camp activities such as; Evening Programs, Carnivals and Sunday Worship Services.
- To assist and share in other responsibilities and duties as assigned by the Camp Caretaker, Director or his representative including the cleaning up of camp at the end of the summer.
- To live and work in harmony with others in a Christion environment.
