Maintenance Staff

MAINTENANCE

RESPONSIBLE TO: Caretaker, Program Director, and Camp Director

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work under the direction of the camp Caretaker to insure a clean, safe camp that is in harmony with the goals and objectives of camp NEOSA.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. To report to the Caretaker on a daily basis for specific job assignments.
2. To assume responsibility for the daily removal and proper disposal of trash from around the camp.
3. To make a daily check of maintenance requisitions out of the camp office and handle those requisitions.  Any major problems should be reported daily to the caretaker for proper handling.
4. To assist with the arrival and departure of campers each opening and closing days.
5. To assume responsibility for the delivery of special program requisitions of food and supplies to the outdoor living sites.
6. To assist with the general clean-up and maintenance to include various landscape duties of all camp grounds, facilities, and program areas.
7. To assume responsibility for the proper care of all major equipment and vehicles, under the supervision of the caretaker.
8. Participate in and help supervise campers during camp activities such as; Evening Programs, Carnivals and Sunday Worship Services.
9. To assist and share in other responsibilities and duties as assigned by the Camp Caretaker, Director or his representative including the cleaning up of camp at the end of the summer.
10. To live and work in harmony with others in a Christion environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. At least 18 years of age.


2. Willing to learn new skills.


3. Good attitude.


4. Able to do strenuous labor indoors and outdoors.
