GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Help with initial planning of menus and set-up of kitchen.
2. Train kitchen staff.
3. Estimate needs and order foodstuffs and supplies on a timely basis.
4. Supervise kitchen staff, cooking, cleanliness, and scheduling of personnel.
5. Coordinate and help support special events, camp activities, and weekend food left for staff that may require special preparation or planning.
6. Prepare menus, record quantities.
7. Ensure that all aspects of kitchen are kept to health code standards at all times(including dining hall)
8. Must obtain all necessary ServSafe certificates (paid for by camp)
8. Evaluate current season and staff and make recommendations.
9. These are not the only duties to be performed. Some duties may be reassigned and other duties may be assigned as required.
