Job Requirements
At least one year training, supervising, and evaluating staff.
At least one year experience working in youth-oriented programs.
At least one year experience with climbing, teambuilding, or challenge course oriented programs.
Current ACCT Level 1 and USA Archery Level 1 certifications preferred or ability to successfully complete certification trainings within the first year employed.
Ability to work night and weekend assignments, as needed.
Strong human relation, listening and problem solving skills.
Ability to organize work, handle multiple tasks, manage time, and meet deadlines.
Ability to maintain record keeping systems.
Working knowledge of basic computer programs.
Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in a team setting with diverse persons.
Pleasant, positive and confident presentation of self and organization.
Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail.
Incorporates understanding of child development and age appropriate behaviors.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to work independently.
Valid drivers’ license, proof of insurance, and access to reliable transportation. Daily and/or occasional travel may be required.
Willingness to accept the beliefs and principles of the Girl Scout Movement and acceptance of the relevant and compelling benefits of Girl Scouting.
