CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
RESPONSIBLE TO: Christian Education Director
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, organize and administer a well-organized, interactive, creative, and meaningful program in the area of Christian Education that is in line with the goals and objectives of Camp NEOSA.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and implement an appropriate daily Christian education program for campers that will help them learn more about Jesus and lead them to a better understanding of God's plan for their lives. This includes participating as a “character” or other leading roles in each applicable program including, but not limited to, those referenced below.
- Plan Morning Devotions program for campers and staff and recruit participants.
- Develop nightly devotionals for campers for use across camp.
- As part of the Christian Ed team, assist with the planning of Lord’s Day evening worship service.
- Be available to staff members as a resource person for helping to plan their cabin devotions and other programs that would require your help.
- Responsible for inventory and organization of the Christian Education materials, supplies and equipment at camp and making them available to the staff members as needed.
- Assist the Christian Education Director with the daily running of the GRACE Team program including but not limited to trainings and mentorship.
- Assist the Program Director with other camp programming as needed.
- Assist with the clean-up of the total camp at the conclusion of the summer.
- Assist and share in other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
