Job Description
KITCHEN HELPER:
* We are seeking kitchen helpers to join our Food Service Staff.
* Cayuga operates two dining halls – one on Junior Campus & the other on Teen Campus.
* All food is prepared in the main kitchen on Junior Campus.
* Food Service Staff is comprised of a Food Service Manager, First Cook (head cook), Assistant Cooks, and several kitchen helpers.

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Minimum age 18 years old.
* Stamina to work long days.
* Ability to lift & carry items weighing 40 lbs.
* Ability to follow direction & guidance from the Food Service Manager.
* Energetic mature individual with high moral character.
* Good personal hygiene.

Job Requirements
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provide the highest quality of food service.
* Maintain standards set forth by Cayuga, Dept of Health, CDC and ACA regarding food preparation, serving, and storage.
* Ensure meals are served in a clean healthy environment.
* Wear proper attire.
* Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots & pans, and store properly.
* Clean and disinfect all areas after each use including counter tops, tables, beverage machines, and kitchen equipment (grills, fryolators, slicers, etc).
* Maintain cleanliness of dining hall, dishwashing room, and kitchen.
* Maintain storage rooms in an orderly fashion.
* Keep refrigerators and freezers clean & organized.
* Assist FSM with deliveries and restocking.
